You will travel along the historic escarpment road, originally constructed by Italian prisoners, making a stop at the famous viewpoint to witness the magnificent natural features formed by ancient tectonic processes. After continuing the drive, you will arrive at Oldarpoi Mara Lodge in time for a fresh lunch. The afternoon is reserved for an immersive evening game drive within the Mara wilderness, offering your first chance to spot an incredible density of wildlife as the sun sets over the plains. Dinner and overnight at Oldarpoi Mara Lodge.
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a full-day game drive in the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Named "Mara" — the Maasai word for "spotted" — after the short bushy trees that dot the vast savannah, this destination is the celebrated home of the "Big Five." You will spend the day traversing the reserve, encountering an uncountable population of wildlife in one of Africa's most concentrated ecosystems. A packed lunch will be served in the heart of the wilderness, allowing you to stay deep in the bush in search of more game. As the evening light transforms the landscape, you will return to the lodge for a restful evening. Dinner and overnight at Oldarpoi Mara Lodge.
Following breakfast and checkout, the journey continues out of the Mara region toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving at your hotel during the lunch hour, you will soon depart for an afternoon game drive along the shores of the "Pink Lake," famous for its vibrant populations of lesser flamingos. This park offers a unique opportunity to spot rare wildlife, including the endangered Rothschild giraffe and the Southern white rhinoceros, alongside the park's legendary tree-climbing lions. The day concludes with a scenic drive to your hotel for the evening. Dinner and overnight at Eldorado Rustic Hotel.
The final day begins with breakfast and a checkout before a short drive to the volcanic scenery of Naivasha. You will enter Hell's Gate National Park for a unique bicycle safari, pedaling through the 64-square-kilometer reserve established to preserve its dramatic cliffs and geothermal activity. The ride leads to the southern side of the park at Ol Jorowa Gorge, where you will embark on a guided hike with a local Maasai guide. After the hike, you will enjoy lunch at Fisherman's Camp followed by a peaceful one-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos and birdlife. The adventure concludes with a drive back to Nairobi for a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
