The day is yours to settle in and explore the modern amenities of the mall or soak up the atmosphere of the "Green City in the Sun." You can choose to spend the afternoon visiting the Giraffe Center or the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust before returning to your hotel for a quiet evening. After a morning departure from your hotel, you will drive south through the heart of Maasai land towards Amboseli National Park. Arriving in time for lunch at your lodge, you will catch your first glimpse of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro towering over the horizon. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the park's swamps and plains, which are world-renowned for their massive elephant herds. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Following a morning departure for your first game drive of the day, you will spend the morning and afternoon tracking predators like lions and cheetahs that roam the open savannas. Following a morning departure from Diani, you will travel to Mombasa Island for a deep dive into the coast's rich history. Your journey concludes with a morning departure from Diani Beach for a transfer to the Mombasa SGR Terminus in Miritini. You will board the Madaraka Express train for a comfortable ride back to the capital, traversing the vast landscapes of Tsavo National Park along the way. Upon arrival at the Nairobi Terminus in Syokimau, you will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening flight home.
