The Journey Begins: Your adventure starts with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. We descend the spectacular Great Rift Valley escarpment, pausing for photography and panoramic views of the valley floor.
Afternoon in the Wild We arrive at your Mara Lodge in time for a warm welcome and a hearty lunch. At 3:30 PM, set out for your first introductory game drive. As the afternoon heat thins, the Mara plains come alive. We will navigate the rolling grasslands, characterized by iconic acacia silhouettes, in search of the "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino).
• Highlight: Golden hour photography as predators begin their evening hunt.
• Dining: Lunch and Dinner at the Lodge.
• Accommodation: Selected Safari Lodge/Camp.
Sunrise & The Mara River: Following an early breakfast, we head deep into the reserve for an extended half-day immersion. Spanning 1,510 km², the Maasai Mara offers the highest concentration of big cats in East Africa. Our route leads us toward the Mara River, the site of the legendary Great Migration crossings.
Picnic in the Plains: Enjoy a unique picnic lunch surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild. For those interested in the finer details of the ecosystem, an optional guided nature walk along the riverbanks is available.
The Return After a final sweep of the plains, we begin our scenic drive back to the capital. We expect to arrive in Nairobi by late evening for a drop-off at your residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), carrying memories of a lifetime.
