Download BrochureTo ensure you beat the midday heat and catch the best morning light for photography, a departure from Nairobi between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM is highly recommended.
This allows for a smooth descent down the escarpment and a quick stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint before arriving at Mount Longonot National Park by 8:00 AM.
The morning is dedicated to a rewarding hike up the dormant volcanic cone, where the trail leads you to the crater rim for breathtaking views of the lush forest within the caldera.
After conquering the summit and descending for a well-earned lunch, you will transition to the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha. Your evening will be spent at Osotua Luxury Resort, a sophisticated sanctuary where you can enjoy a refined dinner and a peaceful overnight stay amidst manicured gardens and serene water views.
After a relaxed breakfast at the resort and completing your check-out, the day's adventure shifts to the dramatic landscapes of Hell's Gate National Park.
You will start with an exhilarating bike ride through the park's towering basalt cliffs, a unique setting that allows you to cycle alongside resident wildlife like zebras, giraffes, and warthogs in their natural habitat.
Following the ride, a Maasai guide will lead you on a trek through the deep sandstone gorges, sharing cultural insights and geological history as you navigate the narrow passages. For lunch, you will head to the iconic Fisherman's Camp to dine under the shade of yellow-fever acacia trees.
The expedition concludes with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos and majestic fish eagles before you begin the drive back to Nairobi in the late afternoon.
